Management ExperienceI have over 17 years of management experience, the last 7 servicing the oil, gas & power distribution industries. I have successfully led multi cultural teams to bring in construction projects on schedule & in budget. Projects I have led include, running multiple projects simultaneously, totaling $10m, for gas plant construction, completing 21 projects in a 2 year span, totaling $14m, for a mining operation & building a $15m solar farm.Managing Challenges: I thrive on challenging situations & people. I have extensive experience dealing with workplace incidents, resource inadequacies & extremely demanding customers. I can quickly assess situations & people to lead as required. I am comfortable de-escalating highly emotional situations so that disputing parties can work together.Project Planning: Through training & a broad range of experience, I have honed my skills. I work from rudimentary specs to detailed blueprints, combining relevant data points to visualize the big picture, set milestones, budget, manpower & other required resources to develop a complex project plan. Plans include all KPIs necessary to track every aspect of the project. Data is mapped & analyzed, with adjustments made to ensure the project remains on target. Commitment to Safety: It is my belief that management & safety go hand-in-hand in the journey to zero incidents. By committing to the highest levels of safety, lives are saved & work progresses smoothly, meaning no downtime for workers or the project. After years of training & field work, I have attained the NCSO certification for managing safety.
