Advised the Ministry of Finance of Ecuador to develop a framework to attract private investment into infrastructure and registration of fixed and contingent fiscal liabilities. Provides expert guidance on project structuring, facilitates project finance, maintains direct communication with multilateral and bilateral lenders, and advocates for policy reforms to foster investment. Conducts institutional capacity building workshops and fosters the implementation of Project best practices.• Provided advise on the bankability and risk contractual provisions of the Aromo Solar Project (147 MW) and the Villonaco Wind Project (180 MW), pioneering Ecuador\'s first fully privately financed utility scale renewable endeavors, fostering investments exceeding $300m.• Developed a framework for addressing liabilities and securing fiscal backing for over $1bn in renewable projects and advised on financial backstop guarantees to enhance project bankability.• Assisted the Technical Secretariat of in formulating fresh legislation and regulations aimed at fostering private investment and inter-agency cooperation in project planning, procurement, and selection, culminating in the endorsement of updated regulations in June 2023.
