About David Adam Edelstein
UX Manager and UX/CX/Product Designer with over 20 years of experience building engaging and powerful tools to make customers\' lives better. I have a deep natural understanding of patterns and connections in information, and I use that to find the through lines that clarify complex interactions. I love research and synthesis of information, as well as ideation based on research. I\'m great at working with technical teams, communicating design value and rationale to them, and integrating their special expertise back into the design process. I dislike dogma, I laugh at obscure jokes, and I am firmly on Team Cat. I grew up in the deeply multicultural chopped salad of Hawai\'i, and I\'m the father of an amazing daughter. Partly because of those reasons, and partly because it\'s obviously the right thing to do, it\'s been my personal goal for the last five years to use my tall-white-guy-in-tech privilege as a ladder, to make our industry a more diverse and interesting place for everyone.
