Reporting to the Associate Director of Sourcing, my responsibility is to source all product development needs and ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively - Lead product development through evaluating vendor base capabilities, sourcing new suppliers, and accessing business risks - Ensure all projects meet company requirements by analyzing, troubleshooting, and monitoring progress throughout the product development lifecycle - Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, sales, marketing, and senior leadership to streamline projects and processes - Maintain and build supplier relationships, securing favorable costs considering manufacturing tooling and development, and providing necessary instruction to meet project needs - Source new and existing products by considering target costs, minimum order quantities, lead times, and supplier expertise and certifications
