Mr. Allen currently serves as a Senior Risk Consultant in the Atlanta, Georgia office of AIG. In this role, Mr. Allen supports various underwriters by performing engineering review for Environmental and General Liability Exposures (EAGLE) and Pollution Legal Liability (PLL) submittals and policies. This includes written technical reviews of potential risk, site surveys to meet with insured parties, stewardship meetings and conference calls for engineering purposes. This has resulted in Mr. Allen developing a strong network of relationships with environmental insurance brokers in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast United States. During his 22 year career at AIG, Mr. Allen has served in various positions including the engineering of Cost Cap and Environmental Pollution Protection (EPP) policies and management of several regional engineers supporting the southeast underwriting book of business. Mr. Allen specializes in multiple types of industrial and manufacturing risks including chemical blending and manufacturing, fertilizer and crop nutrient manufacturing, real estate investment trusts, and Brownfield redevelopment sites. Some examples of projects that Mr. Allen has engineered for underwriting purposes in the past have included the Atlantic Station Redevelopment, the Georgia Aquarium, the Cobb Energy Center, the new Mercedes Benz Stadium, the new Atlanta Braves Stadium, the new World of Coca-Cola, GM Doraville Redevelopment, Fort Gilliam Redevelopment and Fort McPherson Redevelopment / Tyler Perry Studios. Mr. Allen is a member of ASTM and is an expert in Standard 1527-13,\"Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process\". In addition, Mr. Allen maintains a current 40 hour and 8 hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and refresher status. During 2018, Mr. Allen became certified in Nuclear Power Plant Decommissioning through Argonne National Laboratories and the Oak Ridge Associated University.
