About David Burg

Since I am working in Computer Science and Software Development. Starting as software engineer in France and Germany, I quickly became project and team leader, evolved to standardization and research engineering. In 2006 I moved to Microsoft in Redmond as Research Dev. Lead. In Microsoft I worked in various teams, projects and technologies, from kernel and Windows\' assembly bootstrap code to the file explorer user interface, from client software to cloud computing services, from Blu-ray command set contributions to INCITS\' T10 SCSI standard engineering committee to writing vendor outsourcing contracts for services and modules.I held several people-manager positions with cross-group and cross-discipline projects. I lead teams for customer delight, quality and employee development. I mentor individual contributors and new engineering leads. I am a strong believer in diversity, inclusiveness and team work.

   I drive the engineering work for Azure Logic Apps SAP customers, many of which are critical customers for Microsoft at large. I apply a measured and mature approach to achieving our goals of delighting customers through simplified and differentiated integration experiences.I am the supportability champion for Logic Apps and drive improvements to KPIs (time-to-resolve, customer satisfaction, ticket engineering escalation rate, to name a few). I meticulously work with the engineering team, escalation engineer, and worldwide support engineers to identify patterns in our support cases. I keep the engineers accountable to address supportability work items while also helping the team improve our processes. I am partnering with Azure Supportability team to pay these lessons forward such as quarterly supportability hackathons.I believe in leading with customer obsession, deep empathy for customer pain points and I am a vocal advocate in addressing these issues. I help other engineers with their product feature design and implementations. I believe in teamwork for resolving customer issues and building the team morale through every day empathy for your colleagues.
