ABOUT DAVI WEISS

Passionate about programming, I work as a Software Engineer at Legend, where I help implement new features for the company using.NET, React.js, and Cosmos DB. I work across both backend and frontend, following a layered architecture (Domain, Application, Infrastructure, API) and applying principles such as and event-driven communication using Azure Event Grid. On the backend, I build RESTful APIs, integrate external services — especially from the financial sector, implement scheduled tasks and background processes, and write automated tests using xUnit and NSubstitute. On the frontend, I develop user interfaces with React, working with both reusable and custom components. I also manage resources on Azure, use Cosmos DB, and handle CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps. One of my most relevant projects was a payroll system built from scratch, where I was responsible for both the backend and frontend delivery. The solution helps reduce manual work and errors, improving the finance team’s internal processes. I’ve also contributed to applications that integrate multiple APIs to support strategic decisions and help reduce operational costs. Currently, I’m responsible for the company’s entire technology operation — providing user support, managing infrastructure, and leading technical decisions, including communication with external IT service providers.
