ABOUT DAVI DE FERREYRO MONTICELLI
Ph.D. Candidate in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of British Columbia - Canada. Primary activities include operating a mobile laboratory for air quality assessment (P.L.U.M.E Van) consisting of several air pollution monitors (UFP, NOx, VOCs, CH4, CO2, CO, O3 etc.), a 3D sonic anemometer, an integrated dashboard system and more. Conduct indoor and outdoor samplings at/near cannabis cultivation facilities to explore this new industry\'s emissions. Also, part of the Smell Vancouver project that aims to establish a community sense of odours affecting health at a municipality level.Independent consultant for air quality-related projects with over seven years of experience. I have worked alongside the industry, regulators, government, and the community/citizens in Brazil and Canada. I have experience in the construction of air quality reports, inventory of atmospheric emissions, atmospheric modelling, sampling and analysis of atmospheric pollutants. I have a Master\'s degree and Bachelor\'s degree in Environmental Engineering, graduated from the Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES)- Brazil. I was also an international student at The University of Auckland - NZ, through the Science Without Borders (CSF) program.
