I live (and play) at the intersection of design and technology, leading/serving organizations in their (r)evolution towards purpose-driven, integrated design, workflow and communications for online and offline media. Award winning creative pro and wearer of many hats – creative director, designer, urban sketcher, street photographer, solutions consultant Cross-media industry expertise spanning more than 25 years. As Senior Art Director with L.L.Bean, Inc, I was instrumental in advancing the design and usability of llbean.com along with fostering alignment of visual communications across web, catalog, retail and advertising channels. At Adobe, I\'ve broadened my creative and workflow consultation across industry verticals, helping organizations leverage the tools and best practices to advance business goals. As founding board member and former President of the Maine chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design - I oversaw the chapter\'s first national-level conference in Portland, Maine: ABSTRACT - Future of Design in Media. I\'ve also served as adjunct faculty at University of Southern Maine and Maine College of Art, where I taught courses on Graphic Communications and Cross-Media Publishing. In 2009 I launched cellphoneSketchpad™ - mobile journal. cyber comic. digital rorschach – an evolving creativity project steeped in mobile photography and sketching in mobile apps. cellphoneSketchpad is a daily blog and fosters community engagement through social media channels. I continue to explore a broad range of creative forms, both visual and performance-based. Over the years, designer, writer, art/creative director, stand-up comic, improvisational actor, cartoonist, wild-blueberry/banana pancake maker.
