In my role, I bridge marketing content and media relations, working closely with UBCO’s students, faculty, and staff. I help produce compelling content, including feature articles, profiles, In the Field multimedia pieces, and materials for the All In marketing campaign. I support marketing efforts across all faculties and offices, ensuring the content meets the strategic objectives of the university.On the media relations front, I collaborate with researchers, faculty, and staff to share UBCO’s research with both local and international audiences. I write and edit press releases, event advisories, and offer strategic advice on media relations and reputation management. Additionally, I support a well-prepared crisis response team and am available to assist with event planning and internal communications as required.
