These credits are part of a little-known and under-utilized Covid relief program that is still available in 2023 (the Employee Retention Tax Credit program or ERC). Businesses that have already taken a loan may still be qualified under this program. The ERC makes funding available to qualified businesses in the form of a check and the funds may be used at the discretion of the recipient business.
