About Dave Siebs
Dave likes wicked problems. He was an early champion of Design Thinking and of visual tools like the Business Model Canvas. He applies strengths based approaches to help companies and organizations unlock their own creativity and imagination to develop innovative strategies and solutions. Dave uses a hybrid of Strengths Based approaches, Business Model Design, and Lean Launch Pad to address his clients needs. Dave works with a variety of companies and organizations from Start Ups to Fortune 500 companies in North America and Europe. Prior to founding Spartina, Dave was a Vice President at CACI International, in Arlington, Virginia, where he supported M&A activity and directed business operations of a business unit. Much of Dave’s experience and passion lie in Management Consulting, Business Modeling and Design. Previously he was Principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte Consulting where he worked strategy engagements with clients in Insurance, Manufacturing, Banking, and Federal Government segments. Dave also served with the Federal Goverment and had postings in the Middle East and Asia. He is a veteran of the US Navy. Dave is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University where he earned his MS in Information Systems and an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Development. He is an avid sailor and earned his “Shellback” crossing the equator during a mile, month-long Pacific Ocean transit on a sailboat from San Francisco, California to Papeete, Tahiti in French Polynesia. He has sailed across the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean seas. He lives in northern Virginia and spends his summers sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, with frequent trips to other deeper waters.
