ABOUT DAVE ROBERTS
I began my broadcasting career in front of the camera but discovered my true passion in the industry was to tell the story from behind it. I feel very much at home when working on production mobiles and other live events - embracing the challenge of sharing the personal stories of amateur athletes and coaches, who they are and what opportunities might lie ahead. I\'ve produced university football for past 18 years including the 55th Vanier Cup in Quebec City. I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to produce men\'s and women\'s basketball for the Tokyo 2020 summer games. Before that I enjoyed a long stretch of producing WHL hockey - over 650+ games over 17 seasons. I’m known for my calm demeanour, attention to detail and ability to make quick decisions under pressure. I strongly believe in a positive work environment where contributions are valued and recognized. I am a graduate of the NAIT broadcast program and hold a degree in communications from the University of Alberta.
