   I have trained over unique federal, state, and nonprofit leaders to master the complex world of federal grants. From new grant recipients trying to figure out the basics to seasoned pros handling indirect cost rates, fraud prevention, program income, and Uniform Guidance, I make federal compliance make sense. My sessions are built to be useful, not theoretical, and have helped over 200 nonprofits and countless agencies avoid pitfalls and run better programs.Beyond training, I built and led the team that ran California’s COVID Emergency Rental Assistance Program. We were responsible for nearly $5 billion in federal funds and got that money where it needed to go. Our team created and executed the entire payment system — direct deposits, checks, IRS reporting, managing overpayments, and weekly budget oversight — all while staying compliant with federal and state rules. We got it done, period.I also work hand-in-hand with nonprofits to help them grow and stabilize. One example: I helped a client bring in $3 million in new and ongoing funding by fixing broken processes and putting in systems that actually work. My goal is always the same — help them spend more time delivering impact and less time chasing their tail with red tape.
