We provide expertise for clients needing to set up and run citizen science (public engagement) data collection projects. Our staff have over 10 years\' experience designing and building successful custom spatial data collection projects and we are happy to advise and help anyone looking to set up such a project.Our customers include the Environment Agency, the RSPB, Keep Wales Tidy, Scottish Natural Heritage, the University of Bristol, UCL, Scottish Environment Projection Agency, Butterfly Conservation, the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology and Exeter University among others.

I founded Natural Apptitude in 2013, combining my 20+ years of experience in technology and higher education with my lifelong passion for ecology and conservation. My background in setting up and running nature-based citizen science projects has been instrumental in driving Natural Apptitude\'s mission to help ecologists and environmental professionals with their data collection.We develop innovative digital solutions that enable efficient and accurate ecological data collection, analysis, and reporting. Our flagship product, the UKHab & BNG Platform, streamlines UKHab surveys and BNG assessments through an integrated mobile app and online platform. Developed in partnership with UKHab.org, this platform is powered by Coreo, our user-friendly data collection platform that includes pre-built ecological survey templates and allows for custom survey creation without any coding knowledge.Natural Apptitude specialises in developing bespoke apps for specific ecological needs. We are proud to have been behind a wide range of citizen science projects, including Swift Mapper, the Big Butterfly Count, Bugs Matter, INNS Mapper and Whale Track.
