   QMedic is revolutionizing home health monitoring by automatically identifying abnormal behavior patterns and intelligently routing users to low cost, preventive services • QMedic\'s wearable medical alert solution identifies physical activity, sleep, location and compliance patterns. The wearable device can be worn in the shower and never needs to be recharged. • QMedic works with payers and providers to reduce avoidable ER visits and hospitalization, lowering cost and providing a better member/patient experience • QMedic has been awarded $4.5 Million in SBIR contracts from the National Cancer Institute and NIH to build population health management tools using wearable sensors. • QMedic has a 3-year clinical partnership with Northwestern University Hospital Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center and Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. • QMedic has won the following awards: Finalist, 2012 AARP Startup Award; 2013 TEDMED Innovation Fellowship - Top Disruptor in Health and Medicine; Finalist, 2013 Amazon Web Services Global Startup Challenge, 1 of 3 Finalists in Big Data and High-performance Computing; Winner, 2013 Cleveland Clinic Future of Medicine Award.
