I\'m interested in drug discovery, automated library synthesis and applying technology to synthetic chemistry. My Ph.D. in high-throughput reaction development and synthesis has specialised me in:• High-throughput liquid handling robotics• Nanoscale reaction optimisation• High-throughput analysis (GC/LCMS)• Reaction discovery in microtiter well platesHaving worked in academia and industry, the “march of the machines” has the potential to revolutionise the drug discovery process and collaborating across a multi-disciplinary team of scientists will be key to its sustained use. My focus is showing how powerful automation can be to industry and academic labs.My passion for team sports has seen me represent my undergraduate university (Bristol) and my postgraduate Cambridge college (St Catharine’s) in rowing. My love for water sports extends to sailing where I achieved the Coastal Skipper qualification from the RYA.
