About Dave Giddens

As a lawyer, my goal is to provide the best solution for each of my client\'s unique situations and provide some peace of mind in the process. I focus in bankruptcy law, so people who come to my office are not happy. They\'re under a lot of stress and they want to be anywhere but my conference room. My job is to get them through the ordeal, so they can get a fresh start and get on with their lives. One of the first things I do is to sit down with my clients and get a clear understanding of their situation. Although bankruptcies share many similarities, you\'d be surprised at how each case can differ. I assess the variables in their situation and come up with the best solution for them. Sometimes that solution may not even be a bankruptcy. There may be other options that better meet their needs. One of my passions is helping family farmers though the bankruptcy process. I grew up in western Kansas and many of the farmers there were my friends. I understand how family farms work. how hard it is to pay the bills when a crop has failed or when the rain doesn\'t come. So I love helping farmers save their family farms. On the creditor side, I enjoy helping bankers navigate complicated bankruptcy cases. I also strive for excellence in everything I do for my clients, which has led to several awards in my profession. In 2012, I was named a Southwest Super Lawyer and a Top Rated Lawyer in New Mexico. I also received Best of the Bar/Bankruptcy from New Mexico Business Weekly in 2011 and was named a Southwest Super Lawyer in 2009 for my abilities in bankruptcy. And finally, I\'ve received the highest rating for professional abilities and ethics from Martindale-Hubbell, AV Preeminent, a peer-rating lawyer review service.
