Geektown was originally a side project I set up as a personal blog. Since those early years, it has grown and morphed through various phases into its current form as a major online source for UK TV premiere dates and other TV news. Geektown is rated by Vuelio as one of the Top 50 most influential blogs in the UK.Geektown.co.uk currently averages over 500k unique users and over 1.1 million page views per month. I have a small team of people working on the site regularly, with various guest writers contributing on an ad-hoc basis. The site has given me the opportunity to expand the journalistic side of my career, having been asked to attend and report on a number of world film premieres, interview celebrities, and write reviews for various movies and gadgets and other geeky paraphernalia! I work with a number of PR/marketing agencies across the UK & US on a daily basis to provide news stories, videos and advertising for the site.
