About David David Alden Pierre Alden

For my healthcare experience, check out: the world of cycling, which for me focused on BMX and mountain biking, I have been a rider, writer, photographer, traveler, leader, and have been the face of the sports and many brands. I have been intimately involved in the bike industry in one way or another since the mid-1980’s, often creating opportunities where none existed previously, including starting and managing my own teams and publishing a regional magazine. More recently, my energies have also gone towards preserving and protecting open spaces while also improving access and public awareness. Outside of my professional experiences, I have ridden mountain bikes since 1994, at races and events from California’s Mammoth Mountain NORBA NCS race, to Florida’s State Championship Race Series, to the Fruita Fat Tire Festival, and multiple NEMBAFests. I’ve mountain biked on Mt Haleakala in Hawaii, in the Sierra Nevada mountains in Spain, around the active Arenal volcano in Costa Rica, and I’m also quite happy discovering new ribbons of dirt in my own back yard.
