ABOUT DAVE WORLEY
A committed public servant, I\'ve worked in a broad range of technical and leadership roles across 14 years in central and local government. My career has given me access to a range of industry sectors and a wide set of public sector fields. I am now an experienced, pragmatic and well-rounded technology leader.After completing the Civil Service Digital, Data and Technology Fast Stream, I moved to Cabinet Office where I played a key role in the delivery of a cloud HR system for seconded workers; I subsequently service managed this system until 2020. At this point, I volunteered to be a part of the government\'s Covid-19 response and led the delivery of a situation and resilience dashboard for ministers and senior leaders, and its subsequent development for critical response.In October 2023, I left the civil service and joined the London Borough of Barnet, where I am leading on building out systems and capability to replace a large IT service contract and advising on digital, data and technology matters across the organisation and beyond.Outside of work, I\'m Chair of Governors at Riverside School, a special secondary provision in the London Borough of Haringey.
