About Dave Wolovsky

Me in 5 words: Nerd With Lots of Injuries. It turned me into a Habit Coach and led me to create Self Science.Here\'s that story. For years, my weak points kept pulling me out of life.Every time my knee flared up, it was painful. But worse, it drained my energy, made me more cautious, and held me back from connecting with people. Then I realized: you can\'t thrive without surviving first. If I can keep myself from getting injured (physically or mentally), I naturally have more energy to live, explore, and enjoy life. When my chiropractor told me to do 100 daily reps to strengthen my knee, I started. It wouldn\'t be a sexy Instagram post, but it actually worked. Two years later, I still do those reps, now closer to 200.And not just for my knee, but for my whole body. I strengthen all my weak points. That tiny daily habit has drastically reduced the cycle of injury and recovery, and rippled through my life.Weak points aren’t just physical. Brain fog, dehydration, sugar crashes, or dopamine-chasing distractions can knock you out just as easily as a bad knee. The trick is to spot your fragile spots and protect them with habits that fit into the cracks of your life. That’s the key: smaller habits have bigger impacts than grand gestures. You don’t need to buy a treadmill and force it into your living room. Instead, notice where there’s already space in your day and drop something in. Do squats while waiting for the kettle. Stretch before opening your laptop. Drink water before coffee. The shift comes when you stop treating habits like tests of discipline or morality. You don\'t need to live up to habits. They\'re just tools, and reminders that you love yourself. When you practice self-love instead of self-judgment, consistency stops being a battle. You’re protecting your energy so you can live more fully. And what\'s the point of doing anything, other than to live life more fully?DM me to discuss workday habits.
