ABOUT DAVE TILLY

I am an outgoing, dynamic and visionary individual with extreme drive and passion in everything I do. My ‘can do’ attitude sees me smashing down the walls others put up in the name of ‘it cant be done’. ‘People who say it cannot be done, should not interrupt those who are doing it\' – Bernard ShawI have worked in the technology sector for 23 years and run a VAR for the last 18 of those. I love technology now more than ever, and love seeing how it is transforming the world in which we live. I am fanatical about experiences. Both the ones I have, and the ones I help shape and deliver to the people and businesses I work with. I strongly believe that profit is always an outcome of a great experience. More recently, my focus is now all about DaaS (Device-as-a-service). Since the pandemic, the problems of putting technology in the hands of an ever growing remote workforce, has become enormous. I love operating in environments which require the ability to operate autonomously in a challenging landscape, and taking responsibility for my own actions, when actions have serious consequences. My love of climbing culminated in realising my life long dream to climb an successfully summiting Manaslu in 2016, the worlds 8th highest mountain – 8163m without supplemental oxygen in 2016.I love science! I love its methodology and even more, its absence of assumption. I am a climate evangelist and do everything I can to support any and all efforts to tackle it. I am a husband and father of two boys, who provide me with constant smiles and inspiration to keep working hard, and to make the world a better place for them to grow up in.
