With over 30 years of experience in OT/ICS and Information Technology, he is an expert in IT/OT convergence and a strong advocate for addressing the associated security concerns. Dave\'s passion lies in doing everything humanly possible to protect OT environments from attacks by rogue hackers and nation-state adversaries, ensuring that food, water, electricity and other items essential for life are safeguarded and always readily accessible.Dave has provided consulting services to C-suite leaders of major corporations, including collaboration with a global management consulting firm, bringing his expertise directly to the highest levels of industry leadership.With deep OT/ICS/IT knowledge and expertise, Dave\'s skills and experience range across several sectors, including Critical Manufacturing, Food and Agriculture, Energy, Nuclear, and Water/Wastewater. He has extensive experience in Industrial Control Systems, Industrial Networks, Data Centers, Autonomous Surveillance Systems, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, and Project Management.Dave\'s engineering career began designing circuits for use in military airborne radars, followed by designing flight control systems for military aircraft using computer modeling and simulation. He then led a team of engineers in the semiconductor industry, designing and developing machine vision-based semiconductor manufacturing equipment and integrating them into a statistical process control application by networking multiple instances of the equipment across several manufacturing sites. In addition, he performed research in interactive multimedia technologies and networks at a corporate research laboratory and founded an internet startup focused on interactive multimedia during the early days of the dot-com boom.Mr. Skramsted is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (B.E.E.) and Southern Methodist University (M.S.E.E.). He has applied for and been granted several patents worldwide for his technological innovations.
