For the past 43 years, CAFCA has been the collective voice for Colorado agencies and treatment centers serving trauma-affected children and families. We have been a major force in advocating for Colorado\'s at-risk children and families and in implementing much-needed changes that will help reform a broken child welfare system. CAFCA is strong in influencing and educating legislators and impacting legislation and policy that affects the lives of each of those kids and families. For the past 20 years, as a colleague, I\'ve watched in awe at the amazing work they have done. And now, having been given the opportunity to join this incredible team, it is an honor to be an integral part of this amazing organization, to lead their communications and development efforts, and to join them on their journey of growth and expansion.
