Rocker joined NYSA in 2013 as Chief Operating Officer and became Managing Partner in 2016. Rocker’s career spans over 30 years having spent the majority in corporate finance, merger and acquisition, and other complex business transactions, domestically and internationally, representing a number of Fortune 500 clients and large privately held companies. Rocker’s expertise in advising corporations includes virtually all aspects of financial engineering, debt and equity capital structures, capital sourcing, and business process enhancement. Rocker brings a wide breadth of transactional experience having successfully advised clients on over $3 Billion of funded transactions across the real estate, manufacturing, and service industry sectors. His focused approach in the design, origination, structuring, and execution of financial advisory assignments, loan syndications, and capital markets products and services have assisted his clients in successfully executing optimized capital transactions to support their growth and/or reorganizational strategic initiatives.Rocker is an Atlanta native and an active alumnus of the Georgia Institute of Technology. Rocker is active in his local church and has actively supported numerous charitable endeavors including Junior Achievement, Partnership Against Domestic Violence, CURE, Rayo del Sol, Childkind, Camp Twin Lakes, and various programs that support service-disabled veterans. One example of this is an endowment he made to build a 60-seat training center at the Bobby Dodd Institute to train our disabled veterans returning from active duty for post-service employment.
