Former Vice President of Fox TV specialising in Sport Business Development, Production and Editorial media, Dave now heads his own media business group, XCel.XCel began life as a broadcast media production business, servicing high profile clients such as ESPN, Eurosport, Fox, ESPN Star, Astro, MP & Silva, etc, with independent production solutions that regularly sees the team operating as some of the world\'s highest profile venues and events, i.e. FIFA World Cup Finals, F1 circuits, ICC Cricket World Cups, WBC World Championship boxing, etc. XCel quickly developed into the digital media production world by designing, building and managing a full digital media production unit in Asia for sports media giant MP & Silva. XCel provides full OB facilities, TV formats, content provision and carriage across the globe. Closer to home it utilises its significant expertise in the provision of broadcast and digital content services to a full cross section of corporate clients that need innovative and professional marketing help.Very quickly XCel added a strategic development arm as well as a large scale events business, providing consultative services to the likes of Fox and Discovery in areas such as sport business development and TV Channel rebranding. Host broadcasting, digital production, carriage negotiation, editorial production and high end sporting event provision now are part of XCel\'s staple diet.As well as being very comfortable operating at C-Level, as a former professional football referee, TV presenter/host, athlete representative and federation board member, Roberts also specialises in the professional football and sporting environment.
