I’m a Staff Software Engineer with over 20 years experience in architecting, implementing and optimizing large-scale software systems. My recent roles have focused on distributed database systems, including my last role at Ditto working on their distributed key/value cloud storage engine, and previous database development roles at Pinecone and Couchbase, where I led the technical direction of KV-Engine, a core component of Couchbase Server NoSQL database.Prior to database systems, I worked on a range of Dynamic Binary Translation (DBT) software systems at Intel, ARM, IBM and Transitive.With a focus on performance, scalability, and system design, I thrive on solving complex technical challenges.
