I am an enthusiastic technologist with a talent for solving problems and realising opportunities. For example across my three most recent major engagements:* Taking on the technical leadership of a platform team and overseeing a surge in both the quality and quantity of feature delivery by improving developer experience and implementing beneficial patterns* Driving a cost optimisation programme that led to a reduction in cloud spend of over 50% in the first two months of joining the business, leading to a yearly saving of over £1m* Deploying a brand new cloud environment for a business with no prior public cloud presence and facilitating the rollout of containerised and serverless workloadsI am very flexible and enjoy taking on multiple duties. I’m equally happy to get involved with strategic work such as architecture and design, but also tactical work like feature development, writing stories and sharing knowledge.I have a knack for picking up new stacks, tools and languages in short order. However I have proven track records in implementing DevOps practices, deploying cloud infrastructure as code, writing object oriented applications, rolling out continuous integration/delivery/deployment pipelines and much more.
