Dave is Director of Uniper\'s Energy Asset Services function and is also Director of Uniper Technologies Ltd. He sits on the Industrial Advisory Boards of the University of Nottingham Energy Institute and the East Midlands Institute of Technology.Uniper Technologies is a one-stop-shop engineering service provider to Uniper energy assets operating in the power sector and provides Uniper asset managers with a wide range of specialist technical support services covering the whole asset lifecycle from operational readiness through to demolition, ensuring assets are safe for operation and lifecycle cost can be optimised. This includes:• Asset performance optimisation, measurement and testing (fuels, thermodynamic & emissions), advanced condition monitoring and performance monitoring.• Asset life assessment and extension by undertaking inspections, testing, materials assessment, failure analysis and developing repair solutions to assure integrity for continued operation or lifetime extension.• Preparation, co-ordination and execution of multi-disciplined outage work packages to support statutory inspections, maintenance overhauls, upgrade projects, life assessment, etc.• Engineering risk assessment and process safety management, upgrades and process design reviews. • Gas Turbine services independent of OEM\'s. Outage supervision, parts inspection, combustion tuning, overhaul periodicity extension, etc.• Accredited supplier quality surveillance services, both on-site and in-works to cover Outage Support, Manufacturing, Project Management and Construction quality control.• Digital product development, modelling and data analysis to support Asset Services in execution of their work to support Uniper Assets.Outage excellence and upgrade, retrofit and decarbonisation project execution support.
