WORK HISTORY
Site Director @Vynova Group
Runcorn, GB
As Site Director at Vynova Group, the chlor-vinyls platform of International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG) I report to the Chief Operating Officer and oversee the new manufacturing facility in Runcorn, UK, which marks a significant investment by ICIG in a state-of-the-art plant. My key achievements in this role include safe completion of the construction phase of the new plant build which had been behind schedule and over budget, commissioning to safely bring the new plant on line, over £1m reduction in fixed costs in an already lean environment, plus strengthening of the talent pool to combat high staff turnover mostly due to retirements. Founded in 2015, Vynova is a leading European manufacturer of chlor-alkali products and PVC resins, employing over 1,200 people across production sites in Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the UK. Vynova achieved impressive sales of over €1 billion in 2023!The Vynova company culture is rooted in the core values of CONNECT, COMMIT, IMPROVE, and RESPECT, guiding how we operate as an organisation and as individuals. While Vynova is a relatively young company, our manufacturing sites carry a rich heritage, benefiting from decades of experience under major international chemical companies. Parent company ICIG is a privately owned industrial group with a turnover exceeding €4 billion, employing more than 7,800 people across over 50 production sites in Europe, the U.S, and India.
