I teach CEM482 - Wine Making with Dr Nicole Shriner. Dr Shriner teaches CEE 483 - Distilling. Science majors taking our two courses and a couple of others earned minors in Fermented Beverages. This is a hot field that is growing rapidly. A number of students who completed the minor have gone on to internships at E&J Gallo, Jim Beam and AB InBev. Our goal is to provide education and research support for the rapidly growing fermented beverage industries in Michigan, the upper midwest and Great Lakes regions.
