As the Site Director, I led major production investments including securing CapEx for new loom technology, a new production line, and refurbishment of a 2nd production line. Revitalizing our 400k+ square foot 55-year-old facility with significant investment of millions of USD dollars for the first time in over 20 years. I conducted monthly division executive meetings & management team meetings. Weekly department meetings to ‘win the week’ updating status for all KPI’s and financials. Daily pre-shift meetings, emphasizing safety, and prior shift production status to ‘win the day’. I was responsible for site-leading indicators such as Near Misses, Workplace Observations, CAPA, Risk Assessments, and Training. I started each meeting with a safety contact. I integrated safety into daily routines, ensured daily workplace observations were performed, and reviewed housekeeping standards (6S). Engaging in daily safety conversations, I ensured the enforcement of safety absolutes. Responsible for Business Excellence savings, EH & S, Quality, OTD, Customer Satisfaction.Below are listed some of my achievements within this role: • Responsible for site P&L (EBITDA) including GAP closure planning.• Boosted operational effectiveness by leading Divisional Operations Calls, reviewing previous actions, and analyzing leading indicator data weekly.• Communicating with Division Exec’s to Direct hourly employees to ensure alignment and understanding of current KPI’s (YTD, MTD) and risks and opportunities to ensure AOP is met.• Strengthened safety culture by reinforcing importance of safety and eliminating mixed messages.• Facilitated effective transitions and adherence to safety standards by championing Management of Change process.• Achieved better safety performance through advancing EHS Framework scorecard and developing targeted improvement plans.• Development of employees through performance review & goals to develop talent and ensure succession planning and timing of readiness.
