David G. Malobicky is currently the Global Market Director, New Energy Segment, for PPG, a leading paints and coatings company. With almost 30 years of global experience, Mr. Malobicky has led transformational growth within several diverse end markets, including; Automotive, Aerospace, Consumer Electronics, and eMobility. He has a proven record of delivering strong business results while creating inspired teams through his authenticity and purpose-driven leadership style. He brings a unique skill-set combining agile learning with experienced discipline to identify market opportunities and to develop both short and long-term strategy initiatives to pursue them. He also has an experienced background in operations, product development and acquisition integration, and has travelled extensively throughout the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific to lead several global businesses and multifunctional teams. David has held multiple P&L leadership positions and has delivered more than 2x GDP growth in every instance during his leadership tenure. By combining his expertise in company leadership and business governance, he has consistently guided businesses through challenges to achieve sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and positive ROI. David has shown a proven ability to build high-performing, collaborative work teams and capitalizes on individuals’ skill sets to benefit both the enterprise and the individual. He is adept at cross-functional and multi-cultural management with more than 25 years of experience working in and across all major global regions. David is active in his community and with corporate social initiatives. He is an avid supporter of Junior Achievement, serving in both community events and in-school programs, and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and Colorful Communities. As a steering committee member of PPG’s Black Employee Network, he participates in initiatives to drive equity, inclusion, and retention for black employees. He is a graduate of West Virginia University in Mechanical Engineering, with a Master of Business from Saint Francis University.
