ABOUT DAVE LUCAS

My recent experience (last seven years) has been as a consultant at large Oil and Gas companies in Alberta - Crescent Point, Repsol, and Encana. I have also worked with CNRL, Digital Oilfield [ADP] and Schlumberger. I have experience with most of the core business areas in traditional oil and gas companies and fully understand the business workflows from construction through to production. I am very familiar with the various software programs and the business workflow that these business groups use on a day to day basis and have extensive experience managing applications and application support teams. Systems Experience I have been exposed to much of the software that is used by the upstream oil and gas companies including Power BI, Denodo, Flow, Data Marting, Aucerna Softare, WellView, SiteView, AFE Navigator, ValNav, Peep, ESI Execute, Generwell, QByte, FieldView, P4E, AutoCAD, Roughneck, Oplii, Fekete products, OFM, Verdazo and many others. Integration/BI Experience In my current role I am helping guide the standards for all data presentation and consumption at Crescent Point. We are using a standard Microsoft tool set to stand up the data into data marts and cubes. Consumption is through a standard presentation layer (Denodo) for data analystics and integration. I have a high level of knowledge using Power BI and in the creation of data marts.
