Responsible for strategy, leading and running Learning and Development for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service. This has included- National Operational Guidance, gap analysis, implementation of product packs and training alignment- Designing, planning and negotiation of a new innovative shift system with Trade Unions, which has positively impacted the level of service L&D provide through all operational and organisational development- Writing service strategy for Learning and Development, aligned with NOG and Fire Standards- Responsible for leading synergies between Learning and Development, Operational Planning and Operational Assurance, feeding into NOL and JOL.
