ABOUT DAVE HUTCHISON
Inspired by my family’s history of military service, I have spent more than 20 years in the defense and national security industry. I’ve held diverse technical and leadership roles including systems engineering, software development and test, program management, corporate operations, and business development. These experiences in rapidly growing businesses led to becoming Tech7’s Chief Growth Officer in 2024.My career began in space systems engineering for air/land/sea based terminals and control systems, followed by roles on software programs for space domain specific applications. Hands-on experience while working with geographically dispersed teams has proven invaluable to my career, allowing me to establish successful business cultures while supporting the conceptualization, development, and implementation of technically complex systems. I have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and an Executive Master of Business Administration in Aerospace & Defense from the University of Oklahoma. I’ve also maintained a Project Management Professional certification since 2012.
