Responsible for establishing a transition plan and implementing a program to operate retired equipment, establish containment habitability, including HVAC and electrical system line-ups, provide a water management program including maintaining inventory, water processing and liquid discharges. Also, responsible for establishing a Lockout/Tagout program to provide boundaries for worker protection, reviewing work packages to ensure no impact on plant operations; for training workers about Lockout/Tagout program requirements and for managing training and qualifications of operations staff.March 2015 – December 2015Director - Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Energy Solutions, Salt Lake City, UtahResponsible for industrial, environmental and radiological safety and Quality programs for Energy Solutions. Assigned as a Quality Assurance Manager for the Kiewit Power Constructors Cold & Dark Project at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station in San Onofre, California. This was a $30M one-year project that installed temporary power to the station in preparation of a multi-billion-dollar decommissioning effort.March 2014 - February 2015Project Manager - Fuels Zion Nuclear StationResponsible for all activities to remove spent nuclear fuel from the spent fuel pool, package them into 61 concrete canisters and transport them to the ISFSI pad for interim storage until the Department of Energy has worked out methods for long term disposal. This was a 100M+ project performed by approximately seventy individuals
