Upon retiring from British Swimming in 2012, utilised the skills learnt first hand as an elite athlete to encourage and help others to establish and work towards achieving their goals. Worked in secondary schools in association with the Youth Sport Trust working on their ChangingLives programme incorporating Sky Sports Living For Sport project; an initiative using sport as the vehicle to teach life skills and motivate pupils to set goals and be the best that they can be.
