   My journey at Klaviyo continues with a strong focus on leading and implementing Klaviyo\'s generalized analytical data solution used by all teams across the engineering organization. In concrete terms, this means that I help design and implement the foundational components that are used as building blocks by teams across Klaviyo to manage the huge amount of data that we receive and maintain. My day-to-day responsibilities include:* Implementing, maintaining, and improving the data platform leveraged by dozens of teams across Klaviyo to power their data science and analytical needs.* Utilizing a multi-faceted approach to data management where a \"one size fits all\" attitude never works in practice. I ensure that myself and my teammates consistently apply the right approach to each problem. Our data systems support all major access patterns spanning from hyper low-latency OLAP to huge batch analysis applied across terabytes or petabytes of data and trillions of datapoints.* Applying my deep knowledge and experience with complex distributed data systems like Spark, HDFS, and OLAP stores (StarRocks/Clickhouse) to solve real-world, customer-facing issues
