Career law clerk in U.S. Magistrate Judge\'s chambers. Conduct research, draft orders and opinions, and assist in trials in wide range of federal civil law, including employment discrimination, ERISA, civil rights, environmental, intellectual property, immigration, labor, Social Security, and complex commercial claims and a variety of other cases filed under the Court’s diversity jurisdiction. Work closely with Magistrate Judge in conducting Discovery Conferences and Judicial Settlement Conferences. Exercise primary oversight of chambers’ civil docket, including guiding civil cases through the pretrial process and communicating with presiding District Judge’s chambers (referred cases) and monitoring Case Management and Electronic Case Filing (“CM/ECF”) system. Oversee chambers\' law student intern program including recruitment, project assignments and day-to-day management.
