Release Train Engineer Programme Manager @Severn Trent

I am currently in the above role working within the Customer Train/ Portfolio. The role includes the following- I provide strong support, coaching and servant leadership to large teams. This includes members from a variety of Technology areas, other business functions and third-party suppliers all in a challenging and fast changing environment- My teams and I operate mainly under the Scaled Agile Framework however a small amount of waterfall delivery is occasionally required. I lead and motivate them to deliver the best outcomes for our colleagues and customers- I manage my own workload over a number work streams and fast paced projects- I have executive level presence and exposure to senior leadership and board members- I use my strong networking skills to build relationships allowing my teams and I to deliver on time and within budget- I am accountable for facilitating the Scrum of Scrums and owning the applicable actions, risks and issues that are generated from the sessions- I manage and mitigate/resolve risks and issues by understanding the status and having clear plans of action. I will also escalate where appropriate- I am accountable for driving the refinement of future deliveries to identify objectives, requirements, and high-level estimates for projects- I have driven an open and honest culture within my teams promoting in the moment feedback to drive trust and commitment from an engaged team- I influence and challenge in terms of:Benefit identification and monitoring (value). Project scope and priorities.Working collaboratively with third-party suppliers and commercial commitments. Understanding the customer’s perspective and aspire to exceed their expectations.
