As a Field Support Specialist within the Commissioning Department of OES I primarily work remotely assisting Engineers and other Specialist Field Operatives during the installations of the latest Smart Metering equipment and the on site Commissioning of them. This allows us to increase the amount of low cost and Renewable Energy that our nearly 6 million Customers consume to help with the UK\'s drive to Carbon Neutrality and increased affordability for Sustainable Energy and the financial benefits for Customers with the latest Smart Metering equipment.This also includes ensuring that Engineers/Field Operatives are scheduled to full capacity to help us reach our Government backed annual installation targets for the latest metering equipment. Additionally organizing and planning the stocks and provisions for the appropriate and correct specialist Metering equipment for Engineers carrying out more complex installation jobs in either areas of poor/disrupted signal or where distance issues have caused previous installations to fail to Commission. Having a detailed knowledge and understanding of not just Smart Metering products but additional Energy based Consumer goods such as Electric Vehicle Charging Points, In-Home Solar Panels and Industrial Storage Heaters as well as the UK\'s Data Communications Company (DCC) to help deliver bepoke advise and support to our Field Workers and Customers to ensure each and every Installation, Project, Operation and even Customer journey is handled uniquely to ensure a positive and successful outcome is achieved for all parties on each occasion as we continue to pride ourselves on being the most accredited and #1 Consumer ranked Energy provider in the UK.
