About Dave Dennis

My humble beginning started as a clueless teenager that broke into the high school machine shop the summer before my freshman year curious about what the machines were and what they did. When Mr. Charile Coss (the machine shop teacher) caught me while I was playing around with the equipment, instead of calling the police it was like he knew what he was doing as he quickly had me cleaning and painting the machines that within the next few years would master running. And would manage to manufacture a replica of an 1871 British Howitzer that would win first place in its class and best of the show at the Ohio state industrial trade show competition at the age of 15. I started my industrial career working for a large corporation traveling across the US and Canada working on Ladles, BOF Vessels and Coke Ovens in Steel Mills. Mainly going to each plant studying the problem then go back design and build whatever equipment was needed to correct the problem and then truck it there, Install it and train them how to run it. Well, that only took about eight years to figure out that I could be doing the same thing for my cause instead of making the rich richer. So I borrowed a welding machine and started doing jobs out of two stall garage under my house. And 25 years later we have a square foot job shop with excellent employees which can work 2500 feet below the surface of the earth in salt mines and with NASA that take the parts that we machine 12 billion miles above it.
