About Dave Chapman

I have been involved in Safety and Health throughout my career. I served on the Washington, Indiana Fire Department for over 25 years as a fire officer/EMT and Fire Chief; as the Director of Environmental Services/Safety officer for Wekiva Springs Center; the Life Safety Manager for Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital; and currently serve as the Safety Officer for Ascension St. Vincent\'s Southside hospital. I am a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional, Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional, National Healthcare Disaster Professional, Certified Continuity Manager, and NFPA 101 Life Safety certified.I have certifications in my aspects of fire protection, emergency medicine, emergency management and incident command. I have a BS degree in Fire Science with an emphasis on Administration. My list of certifications, and training experiences is vast and varied.
