I am the President of a CFO/Controller advisory practice. Acorn Accounting provides Accounting, Finance, and Human Resource services to companies in lieu of a full-time CFO or Controller. Additionally, I provide cash management analysis, establish financial controls and \"best practices\" to protect the business. I can assist in obtaining financing from lending institutions, as well as assist with negotiations. I have established solid relationships with local bankers, attorneys, insurance brokers, and many other business professionals. I am available when the business seeks advice with difficult decisions. Additionally, I help with company policies and set procedures custom-made for the business. My services offer the owner/President more time to focus on core business issues, new customers, and new services.I service clients one to two days per week and work with the accounting and /or bookkeeping personnel to provide services that better connect the company with their CPA firm. This part-time service is ideal for companies that cannot afford to hire a full-time CFO or Controller. Companies working with me can also take advantage of my Human Resource experience, thereby adding two professional services at one time. I perform all services on a contract basis, saving the client payroll taxes and benefits that would be made available to a full-time employee.
