WORK HISTORY
Technical Sales Executive @C-Therm Technologies Ltd
I work with R&D, QA, and product teams to make thermal measurements simple, reliable, and scalable. My role at C-Therm is to translate real sample constraints into the right Trident setup. I work closely with our SME to map the right methods to liquids, powders, pastes, and solids across polymers, composites, TIMs, advanced materials, etc. Results matter, so I keep things practical: clear prep, repeatable workflows, and data you can trust. If you are comparing techniques or need a second opinion, I can share our Method Selection Guide and book a quick consult.

ABOUT DAVE ALLISON
I help R&D teams and lab groups make better material decisions with measurements they can trust. At C-Therm, I work across materials characterization, specializing in thermal analysis and thermophysical testing. A lot of my day is focused on thermal conductivity(K) and effusivity using Trident (MTPS, TPS, TLS, THW). We also support broader thermal analysis workflows with DMA, DSC, TGA/STA, and TMA.I did not come up through a traditional engineering path. I learned this world by staying curious, asking a lot of questions, and following the same “how does this work?” instinct I had as a kid watching Popular Mechanics for Kids, The Magic School Bus, and Bill Nye. I’m basically still that kid, just with better lab tools. If you are working on batteries, electronics, polymers, composites, TIMs, or anything where heat is the bottleneck, I’m always open to a quick technical discussion to explore fit, no obligation after.
