After serving his constituents and state and local businesses as an elected member to the Virginia House of Delegates for 24 years (12 of which he served as chairman of the House Courts of Justice Committee, which handles more bills than any other committee), Dave now represents corporations, businesses, trade associations and public entities before Virginia’s executive branch, legislative branch and state agencies on all aspects of government relations, including legislative advocacy, business development, government contracting and regulatory matters. Dave’s experience has already resulted in his selection by Virginia Business magazine’s “Legal Elite” in Government Relations / Lobbying (2018). Over the nearly 300 year history of the House Courts of Justice Committee, Dave Albo holds the record for longest serving Chairman. During his tenure as a delegate, Dave developed extensive experience in navigating government to solve problems. With a reputation for working with both political parties, he was highly sought after as a legislator who could figure out a way to pass a bill, solve a problem for a constituent or get answers for businesses regulated by the government. Dave earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond, and he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Virginia.
