ABOUT DAVE BIGGS

I am a die-hard champion of community engagement. My role as Strategic Engagement Advisor at Social Pinpoint keeps me fresh and challenged as our software has grown to be the most widely used public engagement software available. I\'ve been fortunate enough to have led a wide range of award-winning planning projects with government clients and consulting firms. I\'m also one of those strange people that enjoys public speaking and am honored to be asked to deliver keynote speeches, usually on best practices for the use of software tools to supercharge community participation for planning projects. I\'m a big supporter of organizations like the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) and the National Coalition for Dialog and Deliberation (NCDD) and do whatever I can to help share my experience in online engagement via webinars and at conferences. Every so often I write a book about lessons learned but these days I\'m lucky to squeak out a blog post every couple of weeks.
