About Mike Davis
Since making the shift to the world of Data Science in 2024, I have been focused on helping Stancil Services in their mission becoming the best trade partner in Construction throughout the Carolinas in their initial steps into Data Sciences using analytics & insights to make data-driven decisions to best support our tremendous growth & success. Together we have achieved operations efficiencies and increased awareness of our data and the wealth of knowledge it provides to every department, division, and region of this organization. Moving into 2025 & beyond we are continuing to grow this Data Science team and do things that no other Construction Trade is doing. I am currently working as the Right Person, in the Right Seat within my passion for Data Science for an amazing organization! Historically prior to 2024, I worked in Purchasing & Inventory Management since my employment at Hendrick Motorsports in 2001 within the NASCAR sports industry. A wide range of computer skills were used, some examples include Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus (mainly Excel, Word, Outlook & occasionally Powerpoint). I am also trained in company databases such as: Microsoft Dynamics AX & D365, Siemens TeamCenter, Avantis Inventory Control, ReqLogic & Sharepoint. As with any inventory & purchasing structure, I have experience in E.O.Y. inventory & cycle counts. I have purchased from many different arrays of product & material from laser/water cut materials to machined items from supplied prints to OEM manufactured products to Mil-Spec bolts & fasteners. Also here recently have become quite familiar with purchasing raw stock materials. To my recent experiences with Contract Manufacturing I have obtained skills & knowledge in ISO 9001, and purchasing with quality specifications & expectations.
